STUDENTS CLINICAL POSTING
At the end of each study block, students are posted to clinical areas for practical experience. While on clinical posting, students are instructed to carry with them learning objectives which have been drawn for each posting. In addition to Nursing Council Record of Instruction booklet, every student must possess a 20 leaves exercise book to be used in documenting a minimum of two procedures within any four weeks of clinical posting. Provision must be made in the exercise book for signature of the ward manager, clinical instructor, coordinator of student's program in the hospital and the coordinator of clinical instruction unit who is based in the school. The officer's signature certifies student's proficiency in the aforementioned procedures.

- Muhammad Abdullahi Wase specialist Hospital (Nasarawa Hospital)
- Dala Orthopedic Hospital
- Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH)
- Damanau Psychiatric Hospital
- Makka Specialist Hospital
- Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH)
- Abubakar Imam Urology Centre (AIUC)
- Takai Comprehensive Health Care.
- Bunkure Comprehensive Health Care
- Kiru PHC
At the end of the training students would have been exposed to the following areas:
- Medical Unit
- Surgical Unit
- Paediatric Unit
- Ophthalmic Unit
- Accident and Emergency
In addition, special postings are arranged to the skin, diabetic and Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) clinics, I.C.U and theatre.
While on clinical posting, students learn practical skills Supervised by qualified Nurses, in addition to the ward-based clinical instruction organized by instructors.
