It is my singular honour and privilege to welcome you all to be admitted into one of the best and most highly regarded schools in the Country. It is one of the pioneer nursing schools in the country having been established in 1948 and among the first schools that secured full accreditation by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

what we do

As you go through the School of Nursing Kano in the next three years as a Basic student eighteen months as a Post Basic Student or two years Community Nursing student, I urge you to ensure that you abide by the Rules and Regulations of the School. It is mandatory for all students to appear in the uniform while taking lectures in the school or during posting. The students are advised to follow the rules governing wearing of uniform.

SCHOOL BUS SERVICE

To ease transportation problems of students, the school in conjunction with the students' organization, render bus for transportation of students to their respective clinical areas at a very subsidized rate. The bus leaves the school for the clinical areas by 7:30am and returns from clinical areas by 2:15pm. No student should blame the school for reporting late to hospital on account of no-availability of student's bus service.

Students are advised to read the notice board regularly as important notices that affect them individually or collectively are usually pasted on the notice board. Students, who fail to read the notice board, always miss important messages.
