It is my singular honour and privilege to welcome you all to be admitted into one of the best and most highly regarded schools in the Country. It is one of the pioneer nursing schools in the country having been established in 1948 and among the first schools that secured full accreditation by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
As you go through the School of Nursing Kano in the next three years as a Basic student eighteen months as a Post Basic Student or two years Community Nursing student, I urge you to ensure that you abide by the Rules and Regulations of the School. This booklet is worth reading and will guide you throughout your studentship.
Students are advised to read the notice board regularly as important notices that affect them individually or collectively are usually pasted on the notice board. Students, who fail to read the notice board, always miss important messages.
The school has Four Departments, and a Senior Tutor Heads each. There are also scheduled offices headed by scheduled officers.
